JAMAICA: Simpson signals continuity to the markets

Portia Simpson Miller was sworn in as prime minister on 30 March. As expected, she has retained PJ Patterson's economic team as a token of macro-economic continuity, as well as her main rival in the leadership elections, Peter Phillips, to continue managing the thorny, intractable issue of violent crime.
